Weird thing of the day
Yesterday, I found out what geil actually means. It apparently means hot for someone.
You wind up using geil like you would use cool in english.
That gives a whole new weird meaning to things being cool. (or well, in this case, geil.)
I find it slightly unsettling.
Also cool, the free newspaper heute always has a mini thing with a quote from Paris Hilton, and how cool they find her on that particular day. It is amazing the stupid things she says.
Saturday, I went to a party. Pictures to come, this is my Photo Safari week before 3 kids leave for Austrailia and New Zealand.

hallo, du..
hoffe, dass du mein deutsch verstehen kannst, du schweizerin! also ich fliege erst am 30. Juni nach hause, sodass ich um 4. Juli schön zu hause bin und sodass wir schön feiern können. und ich muss erst um halb sieben fliegen, das heisst um halb fünf beim flughafen sein, das heisst um halb vier mein haus verlassen! ahh! alptraum! und dann werde ich total fertig sein wann ich ankomme, und.. naja.. geht so.
und du? wann gehst du nach hause? oh! kennst du noch mo? sie kommt in februar zu besuch! wird eine ganze woche in berlin sein! und DAS ist geil. (soo ein gutes wort, muss ich ehrlich sagen)
oh. und ich hab nicht den mut, apfelmus und leberwurst zu versuchen.. hört sich total un-essbar an. aber naja... leberwurst ist selber schon icklig genug.
